Alumni News: Ahmed selected for the prestigious Bezos Scholars Program.

Ahmed Kazadi Kabuya, ein ehemaliger Stipendiat von Pestalozzi International, der jetzt an der African Leadership Academy in Südafrika sein Abitur macht, wurde zur Teilnahme am renommierten Bezos Scholars Program eingeladen. Nach einem sehr strengen Auswahlverfahren war er einer von nur 5 Stipendiaten, die jedes Jahr vom afrikanischen Kontinent ausgewählt werden.

Ahmed was invited to the Aspen Ideas Festival in Colorado. He was able to experience leadership through meetings with notable experts in politics, education, engineering and many other fields that support community change.

Ahmed had the opportunity with his team to come up with a project, an initiative to support young entrepreneurs, which they have called the South African Ideas Festival. This project will empower them through financial literacy and resources that will make them successful in their different fields. This project will be funded by the Bezos Family Foundation and they will be able to create a curriculum for this project which is going to help impact students from across the African community.

The Bezos Scholars Program looks for young leaders who are passionate about community change, care deeply for their communities and are willing to create change in their communities.
