Walk with them. Learn with them. Grow together.

In Our Shoes – International Education Week campaign

Every child deserves the chance to dream, but for millions, the barriers to education are steep.

In Our Shoes is Pestalozzi International’s flagship campaign for International Education Week. It invites schools, educators, and young people across the UK and beyond to walk in the shoes of children from some of the world’s most marginalised communities.

Through powerful storytelling, interactive learning, and a virtual assembly, students will discover what education means to children who face enormous odds, and how, with the right support, those children can go on to become future changemakers.

What’s Included?

  • A flexible virtual assembly
Watch on your schedule. Our on-demand assembly brings to life the voices and journeys of Pestalozzi students, connecting your school to the global classroom.

  • Inspiring fundraising opportunities
Whether it’s a walk, a bake sale, or a school-wide challenge, every step taken helps more children access the life-changing education they deserve.

Pestalozzi International writes success stories

"Pestalozzi taught me about independence and self-respect. I now have my own voice and opinions, and without Pestalozzi, I would have been limited by societal expectations for women. Today, I am a practising lawyer in Nepal."

Arju graduated from our Future Leaders Programme and now pursues her career as a lawyer in Nepal.
