In many parts of India, girls still face real barriers to continuing their education.For Monika, Pestalozzi opened a different path.
At Pestalozzi India, she found the support, confidence and values to continue her education and shape her own future. Through our Head, Heart and Hands approach, she developed a strong sense of purpose and a commitment to supporting others.
Pestalozzi has provided an opportunity that has completely chnaged me, from a small girl who didn't know about this world, to a girl who is able to plan and decide her own future.

Now, Monika is determined to help more girls access the opportunities she once hoped for.
Because when one girl learns, she becomes a catalyst for many others - inspiring her family, her peers and her community. The impact reaches far beyond her alone.
To help address the gender gap, we intentionally select two girls for every boy, creating more opportunities for young women to learn, grow and lead change where it matters most.
