Geofrey’s Journey from Zambia to Oxford
Raised in a small mining town in Zambia’s Copperbelt, Geofrey now finds himself at the forefront of energy research, studying for his PhD at the University of Oxford. His Pestalozzi journey reflects more than academic excellence. It’s a story shaped by a deeper philosophy and purpose: education that nurtures and develops the whole person so they can fully contribute their talents in the world.

Geofrey says being at Pestalozzi didn’t just expand his knowledge — it expanded his worldview. In a community of students from nine different countries, he discovered the power of connection, peer support and lifelong learning. Those values continue to guide his path today, from mentoring younger students to tackling the energy challenges facing his home country.
